If you’re new to all things Labour, take a look at the main Labour party website and see their channel on youtube.

What is this blog for?

This blog helps us:

  • support our two candidates Janette and Doreen in Headingley and Weetwood
  • keep you updated on what Labour councillors and activists are doing in Headingley
  • give you the opportunity to get involved in campaigning

Meetings

We have monthly meetings at 7:30pm, on the first Thursday of the month (except August and in May, if there is an election) at the HEART centre in Headingley, off Bennett road.

Meetings typically involve feedback from Cllr Walshaw on what he is up to, campaigning, discussions on local issues and fundraising activities.

Members

In Headingley and Weetwood there are over 260 of us. Some people have been members of the party for years, others are new. Since May 2010 122 new members have joined the Labour party in Headingley and Weetwood.

We hope to hear from you soon!
